Knowing whose you are helps you be who you are, right where God has placed you.

Being "in CHRIST" is to be HIS in life and to live out these blessings by HIS grace and for the praise of HIS glorious grace. Knowing WHOSE you are, helps you be who you are, wherever you are!

JESUS is Savior, LORD and Master. HE calls us to pray for more laborers to share the Gospel, to go share the Gospel and that as HIS people we "can not be hidden". Be HIS and intentionally share HIS Gospel wherever you go!

In “The Savior Is…” we’ll see that Jesus is more than a baby in a manger—He is the Wonderful Counselor who gives wisdom, the Mighty God who brings power, the Everlasting Father who shows compassion, and the Prince of Peace who restores what’s broken. Each week points us to the ultimate truth: our Savior has come, and His name is Jesus.

SERMON SUMMARY

The Savior is Immanuel, Wonderful Counselor, Mighty GOD, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace and HIS name is JESUS. HE alone is worthy to be worshipped, obeyed and believed upon for life here and forevermore.

The KING is Here is more than a title it is a reminder that HE is with us. Following JESUS can be difficult sometimes but HE is with us. As HE calls you to more of HIM it is best to have in mind the "things of GOD" even as we live down here on Earth.

We observed his words and actions as he heals and resurrects a broken world full of broken people. And we were encouraged to desperately put our faith in Jesus alone, as we boldly go and share all that he has done for us.

Ever since the days of Israel’s first (earthly) king, God’s people had longed for the true King who would reign with righteousness and power. In the Gospel of Mark, we see that King arrive in the person of Jesus—bringing God’s kingdom near and calling us to follow Him. Now that “The King is Here” we must decide what we are going to do about it; recognize Jesus as the TRUE King that we long for, or continue looking elsewhere.

SERMON SUMMARY

Jesus’ mission, call and authority are clear.  The only question is how will we respond? The King is Here and the only proper response is to “repent and believe in the gospel”.

Through it all, God was preparing His people—not just for a better king, but for the true King. Jesus is the King of kings—perfect in obedience, humble in heart, righteous in judgment, and faithful in love. Every other king falls short of His glory. Our deepest need isn't just leadership or strength or success—it's King Jesus.

The King is coming. And His name is Jesus.

SERMON SUMMARY

 Throughout 1 Samuel the sovereignty and grace of GOD is on full display. Israel had a KING - GOD but they wanted a different one. So, GOD gave them what they wanted, one fallen and flawed human king after another...until JESUS came. JESUS is the perfect KING, the only faithful KING. Turn to and follow KING JESUS, we need more JESUS!

JESUS lived, died and rose again!! Since the LORD has risen indeed, we have all that we need to live for HIM and share HIM!! We win in JESUS, and may we live like it!!!

When we move beyond rule following and embrace the intent of God’s commands, we realize that He gives us His law so that we will flourish.

SERMON SUMMARY

Here at the end of our 11 week series on JESUS’ Sermon on the Mount, we find JESUS reminding the crowds and HIS disciples that in HIS kingdom, HE’s the KING and to truly flourish, JESUS’ people need more of HIM, to obey HIM, to be known by HIM and to know HIM.

To many, the Bible is merely a rule book, but Jesus takes God’s commands/law and expands on them showing us that He isn’t merely interested in His people following rules but, rather, He wants their hearts. When we move beyond rule following and embrace the intent of God’s commands, we realize that He give us His law so that we will flourish.

SERMON SUMMARY

As we draw to the end of the Sermon on the Mount Jesus calls us to consider two different paths and to be critical of the guides that are on them. This is a Come-to-Jesus-Meeting called by Jesus himself. Will you take on the profile of a true Disciple of Jesus entering His Grace and walking the hard path set before you? Or will you take the easy road with its false prophets to destruction and ruin?

Jesus continues to teach us what true flourishing looks like in our relationships with others and God when we learn to forsake judgementalism, manipulation, and control, and embrace grace, discernment and trust in Him.

 As we continue to look at what true flourishing looks like according to some of Jesus' most famous teachings in the Sermon on the mount (Matthew 5-7), we encounter Jesus gently rebuking us on our relationship with money and anxiety. Calling on us to trust Him and serve Him for provision and to have a heavenly perspective about treasure. These passages go straight at the heart, pointing to our need for help and transformation.

What a gift for HIM to share with HIS followers (including us today) a model of prayer that starts with the Fatherhood and holiness of GOD. JESUS came to fulfill the law and showed what it meant for HIS people to live for HIS glory. In this passage HE addresses anger and lust, where they begin and what to do about them as people who want More JESUS. True Flourishing begins and never ends with JESUS.

JESUS calls HIS followers "salt and light" in this world! We are blessed to be a blessing and HE's the ONE who blesses us. Following JESUS means obeying HIM and sharing HIM. As the old song says, "JESUS paid it all, all to HIM I owe!" Living for HIM and sharing HIM is True Flourishing.

To engage in more JESUS we have the distinct honor to know HIS teaching and then to live it out. In the Sermon on the Mount JESUS starts with 8 descriptions of what it looks like to be blessed as HIS followers. May HE have HIS way in you and through you.

As we come to the conclusion of our series on the Ten Commandments we end with the command not to covet. This is the one command that is most often committed in the heart and mind and plays out in the other commandments when acted upon. The solution to this is to live with contentment. We will explore “Living with Contentment” on Sunday as we conclude the series.

Not lying to or about your neighbors is not only keeping the 9th commandment but it is to be like JESUS in this dark world. JESUS calls us to HIMSELF and then gives us HIS SPIRIT to live like HIM in our world if we believe HIM. Love GOD and love others!

The 7th Commandment is, "You shall not commit adultery". Holiness and unity is at the heart of GOD's love for HIS people and the motivation for HIS SON JESUS' dying for our sin debt and giving us the chance to be reconciled to right relationship with HIM through faith in JESUS. Loving GOD and loving others is foundational to not committing adultery. 

"You shall not murder" is a straightforward command and a great way to love others. Following JESUS means that we will honor HIM not only by avoiding taking life but by also having good hearts towards people and showing them the life of JESUS. More JESUS = more life! Love GOD. Love Others.

The Ten Commandments reveal the heart of God and call His people to live in holiness, reflecting His character in their lives. They were given to set God's people apart from the world, demonstrating what it means to love God fully and love others faithfully. Ultimately, they point us to our inability to perfectly keep them, revealing our need for Jesus, the Savior who fulfills the law on our behalf.

Honoring your parents kind of seems "old fashioned" or "outdated" but it is still important to GOD (see Ephesians 6:1-4) since HE is the ultimate parent! Thank YOU JESUS for being our example in how to do this!

"Remember the Sabbath Day and keep it holy." JESUS is the LORD of the Sabbath and is truly our rest. Come to HIM daily, hourly, and even minute by minute for the best Sabbath ever!

"Do not take the name of the LORD in vain." is so much more than don't use the LORD's name while cussing. As CHRIST followers we can really honor HIS name or dishonor it in the ways we think, speak, act and worship. Are you taking HIS name in vain or in strength.

We are called to examine and eliminate the idols in our lives and to obey God's Commandments to experience the transformative identity, priorities, and direction found in Him.

JESUS is the only SAVIOR, so, what HE says goes! HE says to Love GOD and to Love Others are the two most important commandments. As we love HIM and follow HIM we will be more like HIM. More JESUS in 2025!

This Christmas season we look at 1 John as we reflect on the coming of Jesus, the Light of the World, who transforms every aspect of our lives. We begin by recognizing that God is light, calling us to walk in His truth. As we abide in Him, we live as children of God, experiencing His perfect love and overcoming the darkness of the world through faith in Christ. In turn, we are called to share His light, love, and victory with others, spreading the hope and joy of His coming.

1 John 4: Higher Love. Discover how God’s love for us impacts how we deal with truth, assurance, fears, and our love for others.

As we believe in HIM we are reborn and adopted into HIS family to live as Children of GOD to show HIM love and show love for others. "Whoever keeps HIS commandments abides in GOD, and GOD in him. And by this we know that HE abides in us, by the SPIRIT whom HE has given us." 1 John 3:24

God’s grace not only saves us but also shapes us into His holy people, impacting every area of our lives. In Colossians, we see how being united with Christ means letting His holiness guide our everyday lives (Be holy as I am holy), reflecting His character, and allowing His transformative grace to change our relationships, values, and actions. By embracing our identity in Christ, we become wholly holy, embodying His grace in a world that desperately needs to see it.

The Transformative Grace of Jesus Christ, which takes us from one kingdom, a kingdom of darkness because of sin, and places us into another kingdom, a kingdom of righteousness, because of His sacrifice. This Transformation enables and empowers us to Love and Serve others because of Him.
