“Dating and freedom” phase or the 

“Can I have 20 bucks” phase

“I know what I’m doing!”  phase 

Whether you have a goofy ninth grader, an independent sophomore or a ready-to-go senior, we want you to know the high school phase is awesome.

As parents, we’ve heard “it's just a phase” at least once, and usually the word phase in this sentence means a season or stage that a kid is in that we look forward to being over. It’s kind of like we’re all saying, “it's just a phase, but don't worry it'll be over soon”. 

But what if we are missing the best part?

“Hot Cheetos” phase or the 

“Where’s my backpack?” phase or the

“Wait, when did I become embarrassing?” phase

Whether you have a nervous sixth grader, a confident 7th grader or an independent almost-highschooler in your house, we want you to know the middle school phase is awesome. That’s right…awesome.

“Watch me!” phase or the 

“Stop copying me!” phase or the

“Can I have more screen time PLEASE” phase

As a parent, you’ve heard “it's just a phase” at least once, and usually the word Phase in this sentence means a season or stage that a kid is in that we look forward to being over. It’s kind of like we’re all saying, “it's just a phase, but don't worry it'll be over soon”. 

But what if we are missing the best part? What if each stage of development is actually an opportunity and not just an obstacle that's in a kid's life?

“Wheels on the bus” phase

Or the “tiny handprints everywhere” phase

Or the “will I ever sleep again?” phase

Whether you have a tiny baby, a toddler or a big independent almost-kindergartner, we want you to know the preschool phase is incredible (and exhausting). Now, before we keep going, I want to define what I mean by phase again.

Phase is a specific time frame in a kid’s life where you can leverage distinct opportunities to influence their future.
