As followers of Christ, we are called to think differently, respond differently, and live differently—not simply changing our behavior, but allowing God to transform us from the inside out.

What if worship is more than what happens when we sing?

In Week 4 of Who I’m Becoming, we wrap up our focus on worship by diving into one powerful truth: worship is obedience. Our worship doesn’t create God’s worth—it expresses that He is worthy. And one of the greatest ways we demonstrate His worth is through the way we live.

Together, we explore what it means to surrender our will to God, trust Him even when we don’t understand the outcome, and allow His Word to shape our decisions, actions, and everyday lives.

Through the stories of Noah, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, and Abraham, we see what faith-filled obedience looks like. We talk about obedience in the middle of suffering, refusing to bow to the pressures of culture, trusting God with our “Isaac,” and choosing God’s will over our own.

Most importantly, we are challenged to ask ourselves:

What do I truly treasure?

What am I willing to protect?

What am I unwilling to lose?

And is there anything I’m holding so tightly that God cannot have it?

Because your obedience is a testimony of the worth of God and your love for Him.

This week, we’re challenged to live as worshipers—not simply through what we sing, but through what we surrender.
