<itunes:summary>
The Audit of Honor

Every generation critiques the one that came before. We’ve become experts at identifying what our parents missed, but we’ve grown slow to honor what they actually gave. <itunes:summary>
At the Movies: Can You Ever Really Start Over?

We’ve all got those parts of our story we wish we could edit out—the "lingering failures" and the choices we can’t undo. In this week’s At the Movies, we’re looking at the high-speed world of F1 to ask a tough question: What do you do when a second chance isn’t enough?

Most of us think redemption is just a "do-over," but the problem with a clean slate is that you’re still the same person who made the mess in the first place. Whether you’re trying to outrun your past or you feel totally defined by it, there is a better way to move forward.

What we’re diving into:

The "Second Chance" Trap: Why a new opportunity doesn't work if we still have the same old habits.

Beyond Cancel Culture: Why our world struggles with forgiveness, and how Jesus offers something completely different.

The Breakfast Table: A look at the story of Peter—a man who failed publicly and famously—and how he found a path back.

The Bottom Line: God isn’t waiting for a "better version" of you to show up. He wants to meet you right in the middle of the parts of your life you're trying to hide.
</itunes:summary>

(I Think) I Love You // Thinking About Marriage

 <itunes:subtitle>Baldivis | Alistair Cochrane</itunes:subtitle>
 <itunes:author>Alistair Cochrane</itunes:author>
 <itunes:summary>
This message explores why people still pursue marriage and argues that our deepest longings—intimacy, permanence, and mutuality—find their fullest expression within it. Drawing on Paul’s teaching to the Ephesian church, it highlights that marriage thrives not when it’s centred on personal happiness but when it’s grounded in mission, mutual submission, and sacrificial love. Through biblical insight and practical examples, it shows how a shared purpose expands a couple’s vision beyond daily frustrations. Ultimately, marriage becomes a reflection of Christ’s transformative love rather than a contract of convenience.
</itunes:summary>

Offensive Grace // Loving God

 <itunes:subtitle>Baldivis | Alistair Cochrane</itunes:subtitle>
 <itunes:author>Alistair Cochrane</itunes:author>
 <itunes:summary>
Grace is offensive because it tells us the truth — we’re not just bad, we’re dead. Until we understand the depth of our sin, we’ll never understand the beauty of God’s love. We live in a world that starts with personal experience and ends with a vague sense of God, but Jesus flips that order — He starts with grace and ends with resurrection. Sin isn’t about breaking rules; it’s about being separated from life itself. And dead people can’t fix themselves. But Jesus doesn’t wait for us to clean up — He reaches into our graves and brings us back to life, not because of our past, but because of our potential. Those who are forgiven much, love much, because grace doesn’t decorate death; it resurrects life. This is the invitation of the gospel: to stop managing our sin and start receiving new life.
</itunes:summary>

 <itunes:summary>
What if church wasn’t just a place to go, but a movement to be a part of? In this episode, we trace the wildfire spread of the early church—from awe-filled gatherings in Jerusalem to persecution-fueled expansion across the world. What kept their wonder alive? And why do so many of us seem to lose it?

Drawing from Acts and Paul’s letters, we explore how one man—Saul, the church’s fiercest enemy—became Paul, its most passionate messenger. Chained, beaten, and near death, yet still burning with wonder. Why? Because of the resurrection. Because of the gospel. Because of Jesus.

We’ll unpack how living out Christ’s character—through forgiveness, encouragement, and unity—can reignite that same wonder in us today. Maybe we haven’t lost it… maybe we’ve just forgotten where it comes from.

This is a call back to the Ekklesia—not just a gathering, but a movement marked by awe, sacrifice, and unstoppable joy.
</itunes:summary>

And he prayed for something better—for something powerful.

This isn’t a call to sameness, but a call to oneness.

Let’s recenter on what actually matters—what’s primary—and learn how to live like Jesus, love like Jesus, and lead with unity in a world that desperately needs it.

Leverage // Time

 <itunes:subtitle>Baldivis | Gordon Bassett</itunes:subtitle>
 <itunes:author>Gordon Bassett</itunes:author>
 <itunes:summary>
Time is one of the greatest levers we have—yet it’s also one of the most misunderstood and misused. In this message, we explore how to wisely steward the short time we’ve been given on earth, not from a place of anxiety or pressure, but with clarity, purpose, and alignment with God's will.

Rooted in Ephesians 5:15–17, this talk unpacks the mystery of time, the cultural pressures that distort it, and how followers of Jesus can move from careless to careful, from foolish to wise, and from squandering to leveraging time for Kingdom impact.

Learn how to discern God’s timing (kairos vs. chronos), overcome spiritual “dyschronometria,” and live a life of deep, intentional rhythm—just like Jesus did. This is not about productivity hacks or time guilt; it's a spiritual call to redeem your time, embrace divine purpose, and live fully present in the now.
</itunes:summary>

 <itunes:summary>
What if you're wasting your greatest advantage—without even realizing it?

From Blockbuster’s missed shot at buying Netflix, to Kodak’s buried invention of the digital camera, history is full of people who had the advantage… but failed to leverage it.

In this powerful message, we shift the conversation from theory to practice—focusing on one of the most revealing areas of our lives: money. Not just giving, but trust, surrender, and Kingdom purpose. Jesus said, “You cannot serve both God and money”—and our bank statements often say more about our hearts than our words do.

We explore the biblical truth that God owns it all, and we are stewards—not owners. You'll be invited into Priority Percentage Giving (PPG): giving first, on purpose, and with a plan. Because generosity isn’t an accident—it’s an act of trust.

Whether you’re new to faith or deeply invested, this talk will challenge you to rethink how you use what’s already in your hands—and how pulling the right lever can lead to exponential Kingdom impact.
</itunes:summary>

True power looks like silence in the face of accusation, forgiveness for oppressors, and choosing love over revenge. On Good Friday, we’re not just witnessing a tragedy—we’re witnessing a revolution. <itunes:summary>
What does real power look like? In a world that measures power by dominance and control, Jesus flips the script. Entering Jerusalem on a donkey instead of a warhorse, he redefines kingship—not by conquering through war, but by sacrificing through love. The truth is, whether we realise it or not, we all serve a king—success, approval, recreation, or relationships. But every one of them demands more than we can give… except Jesus. His way leads to true freedom. So, the real question isn’t whether you have a king—it’s whether you’ve chosen the one who won’t crush you.
</itunes:summary>

In this powerful talk, we explore Jesus’ radical call to make disciples—not just believe. Using real-life examples, compelling scripture, and the power of multiplication, we unpack why following Jesus means investing in others. If your faith stops with you, it dies with you. But if you multiply, the gospel outlives you. So, who is following Jesus because of you? Don’t let the chain break. It’s multiply or bust.

</itunes:summary>

Our Senior Pastor, Daniel, begins by discussing the 11 signs of burnout, from losing passion to emotional numbness, while offering practical solutions for recovery through rest and spiritual renewal. The conversation then shifts to financial burnout, a growing issue for many Australians, particularly younger generations. Daniel emphasises that Jesus’ teachings on money remain relevant today, encouraging listeners to view their financial decisions through a spiritual lens.
