Where is your oil? In Matthew 25, Jesus tells a story about ten virgins waiting for the bridegroom. Five were wise and brought extra oil — five were foolish and didn’t. When the bridegroom came, only those who were ready went in with Him.

The oil represents your relationship with God — your prayer life, your obedience, your time in His presence. You can’t borrow it, you can’t fake it, and you can’t get it last minute.

So I’ll ask again… where is your oil? Are you filled with His Spirit, or are you running on empty? Because when the door closes, it’s too late to go searching. Stay ready. Keep your lamp burning. The Bridegroom is coming.

The Fruit Doesn't Lie

The fruit doesn’t lie. What’s growing out of your life reveals what’s rooted within your heart. You can talk the talk, but eventually, your fruit will tell the truth.

Are you producing love, joy, peace, patience, and kindness—or bitterness, anger, and pride?

God isn’t just after appearances; He’s after transformation from the inside out. A healthy tree stays connected to the Source—Jesus Christ—who makes our hearts pure and our lives fruitful.

If your fruit hasn’t looked like Him lately, it’s time to check your roots. Because what’s planted in the dark always shows up in the light.

Good fruit can’t come from bad roots. Stay connected to Jesus—the true Vine—and your life will bear the evidence of His presence.

In a world that constantly shifts with new ideas, pressures, and challenges, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by fear. The culture around us often pushes anxiety, insecurity, and doubt—but God’s Word calls us to stand firm in His truth.

Isaiah 41:10 reminds us: “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Fear is a spirit, but it’s not from God. Fear tells you that you’re not enough, that you won’t make it, or that you should shrink back. But faith declares that God is with you, God strengthens you, and God holds you up.

When culture says to be afraid, God says to stand strong. When the world pressures you to bow to fear, God invites you to rise in faith.

It’s time to break the spirit of fear and walk boldly in the confidence of Christ.

A Servant's Heart

God doesn’t call the qualified — He qualifies the called. In Exodus 3 through 7, we see Moses go from hiding in the wilderness to standing in Pharaoh’s court with boldness. But it didn’t happen overnight. It started with a burning bush and a willing heart.

Having a servant’s heart isn’t about being perfect — it’s about being obedient. Moses doubted himself, questioned God, and felt unworthy. But God reminded him, “I will be with you.” A true servant doesn’t lead with their own strength, but with God’s presence and power.

This message invites us to look at what it means to serve when we feel unqualified, insecure, or unsure. Just like Moses, we are called to say “yes” — even when it’s uncomfortable. A servant’s heart is willing, surrendered, and trusts God for the results.

Fireproof Faith

Saul is baptized, strengthened, and begins preaching that Jesus is God’s Son. Though some plot to kill him, he escapes in a basket and, with Barnabas’s support, joins the Jerusalem believers. His dramatic turnaround fuels the church’s growth across Judea, Galilee, and Samaria.

In the Gospel of John, the resurrection happens early on Sunday morning when Mary Magdalene goes to Jesus’ tomb and finds the stone rolled away and the body gone (John 20:1–2). Alarmed, she runs to tell Peter and “the other disciple” (John 20:2). They both race to the tomb, see the linen wrappings lying there, and believe (John 20:3–8). Later, Mary stays behind weeping; Jesus appears to her outside the tomb, though she doesn’t recognize Him at first. When He calls her by name, she realizes it’s Jesus and clings to Him (John 20:11–18). That evening, Jesus appears to the disciples behind locked doors, shows them His hands and side, and breathes the Holy Spirit on them, commissioning them to continue His work (John 20:19–23). Through these appearances, John shows that Jesus truly rose, that He brings peace and new life, and that He empowers His followers by His Spirit.

The brothers then deceive their father by soaking Joseph’s coat in goat blood, leading Jacob to believe his son has been killed by a wild animal. Meanwhile, Joseph is carried off to Egypt, setting the stage for both hardship and God’s unfolding plan to save many lives.
