Are You Being Obedient?

Sun, 11 Oct 2026 10:00:00 +0000

What does it look like to live in true overflow rather than constantly scraping by? Drawing from the dramatic story in 1 Kings 17, we explore the journey of Elijah and a desperate widow who was literally preparing for her last meal. When a dried brook and an empty pantry seem like the end of the road, God has a different plan entirely. The central message is both simple and profound: our God is not a God of scarcity. He is a God of more than enough. The widow's jar of oil and bin of flour never ran dry, not because of her circumstances, but because she acted on an instruction that made no earthly sense. This story challenges us to examine where we place our trust when life looks impossible, and to recognize that the drying up of one season is never the final word on our story.

Elevation Church exists to move people on their spiritual journey to Relationship with God, Release from cycles of defeat and bondage, Redemption of purpose and Revival making a difference in the world. We believe in a dream of a home where the hurting, the depressed, the frustrated, and the confused can find God’s love, acceptance, help, hope, forgiveness and guidance.

Is God Your Source?

Sun, 04 Oct 2026 10:00:00 +0000

What does it look like when the very thing sustaining us suddenly runs dry? In 1 Kings 17, we find the prophet Elijah positioned beside a brook that God himself provided, fed by ravens and refreshed by flowing water. It was miraculous provision, until the day it was not. The brook dried up, and that moment of apparent loss becomes one of the most instructive passages in all of Scripture. This message walks us through the reality that dried brooks are not signs of divine abandonment but are often the very mechanism God uses to redirect us toward something greater. We explore four honest and grounding truths: that dried brooks are real and we should not pretend otherwise, that change is inevitable in every season of life, that God is always the source and never merely the resource, and that a dried brook is not an ending but a signal pointing us toward a new chapter. The journey from lack to overflow begins not with denial but with honest acknowledgment of where we are standing right now.

The Fathers Heart for You

Sun, 20 Sep 2026 10:00:00 +0000

What does it really mean to be loved by God -- not just as a concept we learned in Sunday school, but as a living, breathing reality that shapes how we see ourselves and how we move through the world? Drawing from the parable of the prodigal son in Luke 15, we are invited to see the father's response to his returning son not simply as a heartwarming story, but as a vivid portrait of God's own heart toward us. The father's sprint toward his son, the robe, the ring, the sandals, the fatted calf -- each of these details carries profound meaning. The robe covers every mistake and every stain. The ring restores identity and authority. The sandals declare that we are not servants but sons and daughters. And the celebration announces to everyone watching that our return is not a shameful thing but a glorious one. The message is clear: God is not merely tolerating us. He is running toward us, arms wide open, ready to lavish us with a love that is relational, sacrificial, extravagant, and eternal. If we have ever allowed a broken relationship with an earthly father to distort our picture of who God is, this parable offers us a chance to see clearly again.

Assassination by Anxiety

Sun, 06 Sep 2026 10:00:00 +0000

What if the anxiety we feel is not just a burden to bear, but actually a signal worth paying attention to? This message takes us deep into the idea that anxiety functions like a warning light, alerting us that the enemy is attempting to derail us before we reach the greatness God has prepared for us. Drawing from the story of Joshua in Joshua 7, we see how even a seasoned leader, fresh off a miraculous victory at Jericho, can fall into the trap of forecasting a fearful future that never comes to pass. Joshua's anguished prayer to God paints a picture many of us know well, where we begin describing to God a catastrophe that exists only in our anxious imagination. God's response is striking and direct: get up. Rather than validating the spiral, God redirects Joshua toward strategy and forward movement. The parallel to our own lives is impossible to ignore. We are invited to recognize when anxiety is pulling us five, seven, ten steps ahead of where we actually are, and to choose instead to stand firm in the truth that God already knows the outcome. This is not a message that dismisses the reality of struggle, but one that reframes it entirely, reminding us that a target on our back is also a sign that God has something worth protecting in us.

Freedom Culture

Sun, 30 Aug 2026 10:00:00 +0000

What does it truly mean to live in freedom? Not just the idea of it, but the daily, lived reality of being unshackled from the habits, hurts, and hang-ups that keep us running on the same hamster wheel year after year? That is the heart of what we explore in this message. Drawing from Acts 3, we witness a man who had spent more than four decades confined to a single spot, dependent on the generosity of strangers, never knowing what it felt like to stand on his own two feet. And then, in a single moment, everything changed. Not because of money or human strategy, but because two men who had been with Jesus stepped into a divine setup and acted with bold faith. The miracle of his walking is stunning, but perhaps the greater miracle is that he leaped and praised God, his long-atrophied muscles suddenly full of strength. This is a picture of what God wants to do in each of us. We may have accepted Jesus as Savior, but have we allowed him to be Lord over the very things that still hold us captive? This message reminds us that salvation is the beginning, not the destination, and that a genuine culture of freedom means we do not have to keep circling the same struggles indefinitely. There is a life of leaping available to us, and it starts with understanding that what God offers goes far beyond what any human resource can provide.

NextGen Culture

Sun, 23 Aug 2026 10:00:00 +0000

What does it mean to be a church that truly invests in the next generation? In this message, we explore the idea of a 'next-gen culture' rooted in the early church of Acts chapter 2, where the outpouring of the Holy Spirit was never meant to be limited to a select few. Drawing from the prophet Joel's words quoted by Peter, we are reminded that sons and daughters, young and old, servants and leaders alike are all included in God's vision for Spirit-empowered living. The message draws a striking contrast between the generation that witnessed the miracles of the Exodus and yet failed to pass their faith on, as described in Judges 2:10, and the urgent call we have today to make sure the next generation does not grow up without knowing the works of God. We are challenged to see the potential in young people not as a future investment but as a present reality, because there is no junior Holy Spirit. The same power available to the early church is available to us now, and it is meant to flow through every generation without exception.

Serving Culture

Sun, 16 Aug 2026 10:00:00 +0000

What does it truly mean to be part of something bigger than ourselves? This message digs into the heart of a serving culture and what it looks like when an entire community of believers commits to putting others first. Drawing from Acts chapters 2 and 6, we see the early church not just as a gathering of worshippers, but as a living, breathing organism where everyone had a role to play. Acts 2 paints a picture of believers who sold their possessions to meet the needs of anyone around them, and Acts 6 shows us a community wise enough to recognize that ministry multiplies when it is shared. The spiritual insight here is profound: serving is not a burden assigned to the few, it is a calling extended to all. When we serve, we grow in ways that prayer and Bible study alone cannot produce. There are spiritual muscles that only get exercised when we step outside of ourselves and into the needs of others. The message challenges us to ask honestly whether we are living as passengers on a cruise ship, expecting comfort and entertainment, or as crew members on a battleship, each stationed with purpose and trained for a mission that matters eternally.

Disciple Making Culture

Sun, 09 Aug 2026 10:00:00 +0000

What does it truly mean to follow Jesus beyond a single moment of decision? This message cuts to the heart of that question by exploring what the early church understood instinctively: that faith is not a one-time event but a continuing journey. Drawing from Acts 2, we see a community of believers who did not simply receive the word and move on — they continued steadfastly. That word, 'continued,' becomes a lens through which we examine our own spiritual lives. Are we growing, or have we stalled? True discipleship, as unpacked here, is not about accumulating religious knowledge or earning certificates. It is life on life — real relationship, real investment, real transformation. The distinction between information and transformation is one of the most convicting ideas we can sit with: we can read the Bible cover to cover every year and still walk away unchanged if we never allow what we read to reshape who we are. The message calls us to honest reflection about whether we are truly being formed by our faith or simply informed by it.

Soul Wining Culture

Sun, 02 Aug 2026 10:00:00 +0000

What if the power of the Holy Spirit was never meant to stay inside the walls of a church? In this message, we explore what it truly means to be a soul-winning community, and why that calling is inseparable from a life filled with the Holy Spirit. Drawing from Acts chapters 1 and 2, we see that the promised empowerment from the Father was given with a clear purpose: to make us witnesses. Not just in our gatherings, but in every interaction, every relationship, and every ordinary moment of our daily lives. The rushing wind of Pentecost did not fill those 120 believers so they could keep the experience to themselves. It sent them outward, and within a single day, 3,000 souls were added to their number. The question this message puts before us is a personal one. Does the Holy Spirit in us produce the same outward momentum? We are challenged to align our hearts with the heart of the Father, who according to 2 Peter chapter 3 verse 9 desires that no one would perish but that everyone would come to repentance. A soul-winning culture is not a program or a campaign. It is a heartbeat that matches God's own longing for the lost.

Holy Spirit Pursuit Culture

Sun, 26 Jul 2026 10:00:00 +0000

What does it truly mean to build a church culture that goes beyond trends, traditions, and personal preferences? This message takes us on a journey through the early chapters of Acts to uncover something the first followers of Jesus understood that we often overlook today. When Jesus gave his final instructions before ascending, he narrowed everything down to one priority: wait for the Holy Spirit. Not organize, not strategize, not fill vacant positions. Wait. And yet, even those earliest disciples found themselves distracted by what seemed like a perfectly reasonable task. The lesson cuts close to home for all of us. How often do we substitute good things for the best thing? The central scriptural anchor here is Acts 1, where Jesus promises power from on high, and Luke 24, where he instructs his followers to remain in Jerusalem until they are clothed with that power. The significance is unmistakable. Jesus himself said the mission could not move forward without the Holy Spirit. That is not a minor footnote. That is the foundation. We are invited to examine whether our own lives and our shared life as a community of faith are genuinely oriented around pursuing the Holy Spirit, or whether we have quietly let other things take that center place.

One Church, One Mission | The Vault | Elevation Indy

Mon, 20 Jul 2026 10:00:00 +0000

As Pastor Tony takes a well-deserved sabbatical this summer, we’re introducing The Vault—a collection of powerful messages that have impacted lives and continue to speak to where we are today.

Over the next several weeks, we’ll be revisiting some of Pastor Tony’s most memorable teachings through short-form videos, social media posts, and message highlights. These aren’t just old messages—they’re timeless truths that still encourage, challenge, and inspire.

While Pastor Tony takes time to rest, recharge, and spend time with his family, The Vault gives us an opportunity to stay connected to his teaching and continue growing together as a church family.

Some messages are simply worth hearing again. Welcome to The Vault

What if the key to transforming our communities lies not in better programs or policies, but in something far more powerful—unity among believers? This message challenges us to examine the heart of Jesus' prayer in John 17, where He pleads for His followers to be one, just as He and the Father are one. We're reminded that unity isn't about uniformity or agreeing on every non-essential detail—it's about coming together around the core truths of the gospel while extending grace in areas of difference. The beautiful imagery from Psalm 133 shows us that when God's people dwell together in unity, He commands a blessing. Think about the puzzle illustration: scattered pieces look chaotic and meaningless, but when connected, they reveal a breathtaking picture. That's the church. We've spent two thousand years fragmenting into denominations, competing for members, and defending our preferences, when Jesus desperately wants us to reflect the harmony of the Trinity. The world doesn't need to see us arguing about worship styles or end-times theology—they need to witness a love so compelling that it draws them to Christ. When we embrace humility, patience, and genuine love for one another across church lines, we become a visible expression of God's glory that no program or political movement can replicate. The question isn't whether other churches are doing things our way, but whether we're willing to celebrate their success in reaching people we might never reach ourselves.

In this powerful exploration of Luke 19, we delve into the transformative encounter between Jesus and Zacchaeus. This story isn't just about a short man climbing a tree; it's about how God sees us and pursues us, no matter our past or social status. The key message here is that no one is too far gone for God's love and grace. As we reflect on Zacchaeus' eagerness to see Jesus and Christ's willingness to enter his home, we're challenged to consider: Are we actively seeking God in our daily lives? Are we open to His unexpected invitations? This narrative beautifully illustrates God's heart for the 'outcasts' and reminds us that true transformation comes when we respond to His call. It encourages us to look at others through God's eyes, seeing potential where others might see problems. As we navigate our world, let's embrace the 'kingdom mindset' discussed, recognizing the divine appointments and opportunities God places before us each day.

This powerful message challenges us to move beyond spiritual complacency and embrace the transformative 'more' that God has for our lives. Drawing from the story of David in the cave of Adullam in 1 Samuel 22, we're confronted with a profound truth: sometimes we find ourselves in caves of depression, debt, and discontent, but these dark places aren't meant to be our final destination. Just as David entered that cave alone but emerged with mighty men, we're reminded that our caves of struggle can become launching pads for divine transformation. The sermon emphasizes three critical pathways to experiencing God's 'more': laying hold of our testimony, shifting our dependency from ourselves to the Lord, and embracing the Holy Spirit's work in our lives. The symbolism of David carrying Goliath's sword into the cave is particularly striking—it represents the power of remembering what God has already done as fuel for believing what He will do next. Our testimonies aren't merely inspirational stories; they're prophetic declarations that carry the power to reproduce miracles in the lives of others. When we recognize that resurrection holds more value than death, restoration more than the original, and revival more than religious routine, we position ourselves to step into the abundant life Jesus promised.

What If God's People Responded? | The Vault | Elevation Indy

Mon, 22 Jun 2026 10:00:00 +0000

As Pastor Tony takes a well-deserved sabbatical this summer, we’re introducing The Vault—a collection of powerful messages that have impacted lives and continue to speak to where we are today.

While Pastor Tony takes time to rest, recharge, and spend time with his family, The Vault gives us an opportunity to stay connected to his teaching and continue growing together as a church family.

Some messages are simply worth hearing again. Welcome to The Vault

This powerful message centers on 2 Chronicles 7:14, one of Scripture's most beloved verses about national and personal revival. We're challenged to move beyond simply pointing fingers at the world's brokenness and instead examine our own hearts before God. The verse begins with 'if'—a word pregnant with possibility and hope. God speaks directly to His people, not to outsiders, reminding us that transformation begins with those who bear His name. The prerequisite for seeing healing in our land isn't complaining about cultural decay or hiding in Christian bubbles—it's humbling ourselves, praying fervently, seeking God's face intimately, and turning from our own wicked ways. We're called to be agents of change in a world desperately needing to see Jesus reflected in His church. The message confronts our tendency toward 'Christianity as usual'—showing up, going through religious motions, then living like everyone else. Instead, we're invited into something radical: a lifestyle of prayer that marks us as different, a pursuit of God's presence so intense that we're 'dripping with the residue of His glory.' The world doesn't need our condemnation; it needs to encounter the living God through us. This isn't about behavior modification or religious performance—it's about desperate, wholehearted pursuit of the One who loves us and calls us His own.

In this powerful message, we're challenged to consider what it truly means to be the tangible and visible representation of Jesus in our world. The story of Jesus raising the widow's son in Luke 7 serves as a compelling illustration of how we should embody Christ's compassion, power, and hope. As the body of Christ, we're called to accurately represent Jesus - not just through right teaching or perfect rituals, but through genuine love and supernatural power. This message urges us to move beyond mere words and become the living, breathing manifestation of God's kingdom on earth. It's a call to action for us to look for the lost, love the unlovable, and offer hope to the hurting. As we reflect on this, we're encouraged to examine our own lives and ask: Are we truly representing Jesus in a way that draws others to Him?

The Ever Present War | The Vault | Elevation Indy

As Pastor Tony takes a well-deserved sabbatical this summer, we’re introducing The Vault—a collection of powerful messages that have impacted lives and continue to speak to where we are today.

While Pastor Tony takes time to rest, recharge, and spend time with his family, The Vault gives us an opportunity to stay connected to his teaching and continue growing together as a church family.

Some messages are simply worth hearing again. Welcome to The Vault

We live in the midst of an ever-present spiritual war that many of us don't even recognize is happening. Just as the Cold War shaped a generation without constant visible combat, spiritual warfare surrounds us daily—often unnoticed as we go about our routines. The message from Ephesians 6 reminds us that our struggle isn't against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of darkness. This truth fundamentally changes how we approach conflict in our lives. When we face difficulties in our marriages, families, or workplaces, we must remember that people aren't our enemy—the devil is. This understanding calls us to love people while discerning the spiritual forces at work behind their actions. We're equipped with powerful tools for this battle: the name of Jesus, which causes demons to submit; the blood of Jesus, which provides overcoming power; our testimony of what Christ has done; and the Word of God as our weapon. The path to victory requires three essential responses: submitting to God's will even when uncomfortable, shutting the doors we've left open through unforgiveness and bitterness, and standing up to the enemy with confidence that greater is He who is in us. We don't need to be paralyzed by fear or obsessed with demonic activity—we simply need to walk in the authority we've been given through Christ, knowing that the devil is limited while our God is omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient.

Footsteps of Legacy

Sun, 31 May 2026 10:00:00 +0000

This powerful message takes us deep into the life of Abraham, challenging us to reconsider what legacy truly means. While the world defines legacy through wealth, achievements, and material possessions, we're invited to discover a radically different understanding—legacy as a series of faithful footsteps in obedience to God. Abraham never owned the promised land, never saw his descendants multiply like the stars, yet he's called the father of faith. Why? Because he simply said yes and kept walking. The message confronts our tendency to compare ourselves with others, reminding us that faithfulness matters more than recognition. We learn that legacy isn't built through one grand gesture but through countless small acts of obedience—dropping seeds of kindness, mercy, and the Gospel wherever we go. Perhaps most liberating is the truth that our mistakes don't disqualify us from leaving a godly legacy if we allow them to deepen our dependence on God. Abraham lied, got impatient, and made serious errors, yet God's promise flowed through him to bring us Jesus. This challenges us to stop waiting for perfection before we step out in faith, to stop letting the accuser convince us we're unworthy to share Christ's love. The question echoes in our hearts: What seeds are we dropping today that will impact eternity?

Generational Transfer

Sun, 10 May 2026 10:00:00 +0000

We inherit far more than we realize from those who came before us. This powerful message explores how sin entered the world through one man, Adam, and how it has been transferred from generation to generation ever since. But here's the revolutionary truth: just as one man's disobedience brought condemnation, one Man's obedience—Jesus Christ—brings justification and life to all who receive Him. The story of Adam and Eve in Genesis 3 reveals three critical principles that shape our lives and the lives of those who follow us. First, the voices we listen to frame the decisions we make for our life right now and for generations to come. Eve listened to the serpent's contradiction of God's word, and that choice had catastrophic consequences. We must ask ourselves: What voices are we allowing to deposit thoughts into our minds? Second, passivity with our life's purpose will impact not only us but the generations that follow. Adam stood by silently while Eve was deceived, doing nothing to intervene. We cannot sit in neutral, revving our engines but going nowhere. Third, appetites developed for what God forbids will ultimately corrupt our life and our bloodline. What we feed grows stronger, whether it's our flesh or our spirit. The law of the harvest is clear: we reap what we sow. The contrast between the descendants of Jonathan Edwards and the Jukes family demonstrates the profound multigenerational impact of our choices. The question lands squarely with us: What will we pass on? What needs to end with us, and what needs to be strengthened and continued? Today can be the day generational curses stop and generational blessings begin.

When The Mantle Falls

This powerful message centers on the transition of spiritual authority from Elijah to Elisha in 2 Kings 2:8-15, exploring what it means to receive and carry a new mantle from God. The central question we must face is whether we are content to remain at our current spiritual level or willing to pursue the greater things God has for us. Like Elisha, who refused to leave Elijah's side and asked for a double portion of his spirit, we are called to pursue God's anointing with relentless passion. The message challenges us to examine what mantles we are currently wearing and whether we are honoring them with excellence. Are we serving faithfully in the small things, or are we waiting for a bigger platform? The profound truth revealed is that we must be separated from our past blessings to see the new vision God has for us. This separation is not about forgetting what God has done, but about refusing to use past victories as a security blanket that keeps us from moving forward. The hardest part of spiritual growth is giving up things that are not sinful but that God asks us to release so we can have more of Him. When we tear away the old mantle and pick up the new one, we step into greater authority, greater responsibility, and greater impact for the Kingdom. The call is clear: there are mantles lying in fields waiting to be picked up by those willing to strike the waters of their Jordan River with faith and move forward into their divine purpose.

The Absolute Authority of God's Word

We often take for granted the treasure we hold in our hands - the Word of God. This message challenges us to move beyond simply owning multiple Bibles to actually engaging with Scripture as the absolute authority in our lives. Drawing from Matthew 5:17-20, we're reminded that Jesus didn't come to abolish the law and prophets but to fulfill them, declaring that not even the smallest letter or stroke of a pen will disappear until everything is accomplished. The message powerfully illustrates that every part of Scripture - all 66 books - is God-breathed and essential. We're called to a three-fold relationship with God's Word: know it, believe it, and apply it. Knowledge without belief is empty intellectualism, and belief without application is meaningless orthodoxy. The transformative power comes when we build our lives on the solid foundation of doing what Scripture says. Like the wise builder in Jesus' parable, when storms come - and they will - our house stands firm because it's built on the rock of God's Word. This isn't cafeteria Christianity where we pick the promises and ignore the commands. We need the whole counsel of God to become the people He desires us to be.

You Are Salt

Sun, 19 Apr 2026 10:00:00 +0000

In this powerful exploration of Matthew 5:13-16, we discover what it truly means to be salt and light in a world desperately searching for hope. The message challenges us to move beyond simply being good people and instead become preservers of righteousness, flavors of the kingdom, and creators of spiritual thirst in those around us. We learn that salt has four essential qualities that mirror our calling as believers: it preserves, provides flavor, remains common and ordinary, and produces thirst. Throughout history, the church has been the restraining force against evil, caring for the poor, feeding the hungry, and championing justice for the marginalized. From abolishing slavery to fighting human trafficking, Spirit-filled believers have changed the world not through their own power, but by allowing God to work through ordinary people. The profound truth emerges that we are not here to showcase ourselves but to create such a thirst for Jesus in others that they cannot help but seek the living water He offers. This is not about perfection but about authenticity, allowing the fruit and gifts of the Spirit to flow through us naturally as we engage with people right where they are in life.

Kingdom Manifesto

Sun, 12 Apr 2026 10:00:00 +0000

This powerful message takes us deep into the Sermon on the Mount, specifically the Beatitudes found in Matthew 5, challenging us to examine what it truly means to live as followers of Jesus in a world that desperately needs to see the difference He makes. The central question posed is striking: can people tell we belong to Jesus by the way we live, or do we blend seamlessly into the world around us? Using the vivid illustration of a bakery Danish that tasted like Christmas, we're reminded that just as a skilled baker uses the right ingredients to create something unforgettable, God desires to transform us into representations of His kingdom that leave people saying, 'That's so good. They're so different.' The message walks us through the radical shift Jesus describes—from spiritual poverty, mourning over our lostness, and feeling trapped in meekness, to the turning point in verse six where we hunger and thirst for righteousness and are filled. This isn't just aspirational theology; it's the actual life Jesus calls us to. We're challenged to show mercy to others because we've received mercy, to maintain purity of heart by keeping Jesus as our singular focus, and to become peacemakers who bring order to chaos. The imagery of carrying both a bucket of gasoline and a bucket of water asks us pointedly: which one are we using in the conflicts around us? Are we inflaming situations or extinguishing them? This message reminds us that following Jesus isn't an individual sport but a team effort, where your victory is my victory, and we lift each other's hands on the mountain together.

The Power of Resurrection

Sun, 05 Apr 2026 10:00:00 +0000

This Easter message challenges us to move beyond treating resurrection as merely a historical event or future promise, and instead embrace it as transformative power available right now. Drawing from Ezekiel 46:9, we're reminded that God never intended for us to leave worship the same way we entered. The sermon confronts our tendency to let Easter become routine—another holiday that comes and goes while we remain unchanged. But the resurrection of Jesus means the worst thing is never the last thing. We're called to stop mimicking Christian behavior through our own effort and instead allow resurrection power to genuinely transform us. This transformation touches three critical areas: our present moment, our past burdens, and the dead things in our lives. Whether it's guilt, broken relationships, shattered dreams, or seemingly hopeless situations, resurrection power can raise what's dead back to life. The message powerfully illustrates this through a personal testimony of miraculous healing when all medical hope was gone, demonstrating that God specializes in bringing life where death seems final. We're invited to stop striving in our own strength and instead receive the new birth and living hope that only comes through Christ's resurrection.

The Difference a Visit Can Make

Sun, 29 Mar 2026 10:00:00 +0000

This Palm Sunday message invites us into a profound reflection on what it means to recognize divine visitation in our lives. Drawing from Luke 19, we encounter three distinct groups responding to Jesus' entry into Jerusalem: the disciples who understood and celebrated, the Pharisees who resisted and wanted silence, and the masses who remained largely oblivious to the significance of the moment. The tragedy wasn't just in the rejection—it was in the missed opportunity. Jesus wept over Jerusalem because they 'did not know the time of their visitation.' This message challenges us to examine our own awareness: Are we recognizing when God is moving in our midst? The sermon explores how one divine encounter can completely redirect our trajectory, much like it did for Moses at the burning bush, Jeremiah receiving his prophetic call, and Isaiah in the temple. Each experienced their inadequacies exposed while simultaneously receiving God's provision and purpose. We're reminded that God's heart has always been protection over destruction, health over sickness, provision over devastation, and mercy over judgment. The call is urgent: Will we be like those who missed their moment, or will we lean in and receive what God has for us in this season?

The Scourging of Christ

Sun, 22 Mar 2026 10:00:00 +0000

This powerful message takes us deep into the physical and spiritual reality of what Christ endured through the Roman scourging before His crucifixion. We often hear about the cross, but rarely do we confront the brutal torture that preceded it—a calculated, systematic destruction of the body that Jesus willingly underwent for our complete healing. Drawing from 1 Peter 2:24, Matthew 8:17, and John 19:1, we discover that healing is not just a possibility but a finished work, purchased at an unimaginable price. The scourging wasn't random violence; it was prophesied 730 years earlier by Isaiah and fulfilled with precision. Every stripe, every wound, every drop of blood had purpose—carrying our infirmities, weaknesses, sicknesses, and even our mental and emotional struggles. The message challenges us to stop waiting for God to come to us when He's already done the work and is waiting for us to come to Him in faith. We learn that the same foundation that secures our salvation also secures our healing—both were paid for at the pillar and the cross. This isn't about earning healing through sacrifice or bargaining with God, but about obedience, faith, and surrendering to what has already been accomplished. The question becomes: will we take hold of what Christ has already provided, or will we continue to carry burdens He already bore?

Pierced With A Purpose

Sun, 15 Mar 2026 10:00:00 +0000

This powerful message takes us deep into the meaning of Christ's crucifixion, exploring how every piercing Jesus endured had a redemptive purpose for our lives. We discover that when Jesus stretched out His hands on the cross, He was undoing what happened in the Garden of Eden—restoring our dominion over everything we touch. His pierced hands mean that our work, our efforts, and everything we put our hands to can now prosper under God's favor. His pierced feet redeem the places we go and the paths we walk, transforming our journey into sacred ground. Most remarkably, the piercing of His side—meant to be the final death blow—actually became the opening for new life to flow into humanity. This message challenges us to stop treating Jesus as an emergency contact and instead surrender our whole lives to Him. We're reminded that generational curses don't have to define us, that Papa's failures don't have to become our story, and that the Holy Spirit's resurrection power lives inside us. The question we must answer is simple yet profound: Are we willing to pay the price of discipleship? Are we ready to be set apart, to be holy, to turn our world upside down like the early disciples did? True transformation begins when we stop relying on grandma's prayers and develop our own encounter with the living God.

Crushed For You

Sun, 08 Mar 2026 10:00:00 +0000

This powerful message invites us into the profound reality of what Christ's sacrifice accomplished through His shed blood. Drawing from Isaiah 53:5 and exploring the seven places Jesus shed His blood, we discover two transformative truths that can revolutionize our daily walk with God. First, through Jesus' agonizing prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane where His sweat became like drops of blood, we learn that we can say no to fleshly desires and temptation. Unlike Adam who chose his will over God's, Jesus modeled complete surrender, declaring 'not my will, but yours be done.' This isn't just ancient history—it's our present victory. We face temptations daily, but God promises in 1 Corinthians 10:13 that He will never allow us to be tempted beyond our ability and will always provide a way of escape. Second, when Jesus wore the crown of thorns, His blood reversed the curse spoken over Adam in Genesis 3:17. Where Adam's disobedience brought poverty, toil, and misplaced destiny, Jesus' blood purchased our restoration to divine purpose. True prosperity isn't about material possessions—it's about discovering and walking in the center of God's will for our lives. We're not here just to survive or get by; we each have an expected end, a destiny that God has prepared. The blood of Jesus didn't just save us from hell—it saved us for purpose, for victory, for authentic abundant life.

How to Do Right When Things Go Wrong

Sun, 01 Mar 2026 10:00:00 +0000

This powerful message centers on navigating life's storms with faith rather than fear, drawing wisdom from the principle that what fills our hearts determines our destiny. The foundation rests on Proverbs 4:23, reminding us that everything flows from the heart we guard. We're challenged to examine three critical questions: What's in our heart? What's in our mouth? And what's in our hands? The sermon emphasizes that hiding God's Word in our hearts equips us to respond rather than react when circumstances spiral out of control. The distinction is profound—reactions stem from emotions and often lead us astray, while responses rooted in Scripture align us with divine truth. We're reminded that the power of life and death resides in our tongues, and when we speak God's Word over our situations, we refuse to accept defeat even while acknowledging reality. The message also highlights the importance of testimony as a weapon, encouraging us to remember how God delivered us before as proof He'll deliver us again. This isn't about denying difficulty but about declaring truth over our trials, choosing faith declarations over fear-based confessions.

Miracle After Miracle

Sun, 22 Feb 2026 10:00:00 +0000

This powerful testimony reveals how divine intervention meets us in our darkest valleys, reminding us that God's ability exceeds our greatest imagination. We journey through a medical crisis where every organ was shutting down and a heart functioning at only five percent—yet prayer changed everything. The message centers on Ephesians 3:20, which declares God is able to do immeasurably more than we ask or think. What unfolds is a beautiful demonstration of unity in the body of Christ, as churches across denominations and continents joined together in intercession. We discover that the enemy hates unity because when believers come together in prayer, heaven bends its ear. The transformation from a five percent heart function to twenty-nine percent defies medical explanation, causing doctors to literally scratch their heads in wonder. Beyond the physical healing, we learn about spiritual warfare and the importance of keeping our minds fixed on Jesus through simple worship—singing 'Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, what a wonder you are' or meditating on Psalm 3. The testimony challenges us to recognize that miracles aren't just stories from the past but present realities with our supernatural God. We're invited to trust that God isn't a respecter of persons—what He does for one, He will do for another. This isn't merely about one person's healing journey; it's about awakening faith in all of us to believe God can still do the impossible in our lives.

Prayer is the Work

Sun, 15 Feb 2026 10:00:00 +0000

This message takes us on a profound journey into the heart of prayer, challenging us to examine whether our prayers are truly reaching heaven or merely cotton balls tossed upward. Drawing from Matthew 6, we're confronted with the difference between 'prayerless praying'—the kind done for show, filled with empty words, or motivated by crisis alone—and authentic prayer that moves the heart of God. The central revelation is stunning: our prayers actually move God, not through pressure or persuasion, but through obedient intimacy cultivated in the secret place. We discover that real spiritual power isn't found in eloquent public prayers but in the hidden work done in our prayer closets where no one sees. The message illustrates this through powerful stories of miraculous healings and revival, including D.L. Moody's 500-person awakening that resulted from one bedridden woman's secret intercession. The Lord's Prayer becomes our template, teaching us daily dependence rather than stockpiling security, forgiveness as a prerequisite for answered prayer, and alignment with God's agenda over our own. Perhaps most challenging is the call to shift from self-focused requests to kingdom-focused intercession for our lost city. This isn't just about getting our prayers answered—it's about becoming the kind of people whose obedience meets God's faithfulness, who wrestle with Him until blessing comes, and who refuse to let go until we see transformation in our communities.

How Long Will You Mourn_?

Sun, 08 Feb 2026 10:00:00 +0000

This powerful message confronts us with a question we all need to answer: How long will we mourn what God has already rejected? Drawing from 1 Samuel 16:1-7, we encounter Samuel trapped in a season of mourning over King Saul—a king God had already moved on from. The spiritual truth here cuts deep: mourning is biblical and necessary, but it has an expiration date set by God Himself. We often find ourselves grieving not just lost loved ones, but lost positions, rejected dreams, closed doors, and unfulfilled expectations. The danger comes when our mourning becomes more about what we didn't get than about drawing closer to God. Samuel's story reveals that while oil represents our calling and anointing, it's grace that meets us in our mourning seasons. The transformative insight is this: we cannot release the ashes we're still sitting in. Ashes represent what's been burned up in our lives—sometimes good things God had to remove for our benefit. But when we throw those ashes into the air in surrender, they return as oil, a heavenly anointing that transforms us. The mourning process isn't meant to destroy us; it's designed to empty us, clean us, and prepare us like a ram's horn—hollowed out to carry the oil of God's presence. The question pressing on our hearts today is whether we'll stand up from our mourning and grab our horn, ready to move forward into the David season God has prepared, or remain stuck mourning our Saul.

Getting My Stuff Back

This powerful message centers on the story of David in 1 Samuel 30, where he returns to Ziklag to find everything burned and his family kidnapped by the Amalekites. The central theme is spiritual recovery—taking back everything the enemy has stolen from our lives. We learn that while our primary calling is to pursue God with all our hearts, there are seasons when God calls us to pursue our spiritual enemy and reclaim what has been taken. The sermon emphasizes that we are in a real spiritual war against a thief who comes to steal, kill, and destroy. However, Proverbs 6:31 reveals a powerful truth: when a thief is found, he must restore sevenfold what he stole. This isn't just about getting back what was lost—it's about receiving abundant restoration. The message challenges us to move from weeping to warfare, from sitting in defeat to standing in authority. David didn't just mourn; he inquired of the Lord, pursued the enemy, and recovered everything—not one thing was missing. This teaches us that complete restoration is possible when we combine divine direction with determined action. The call is clear: stop talking about what the devil took and start taking it back through the authority we have in Christ.

God Still Moves in Ashes

Sun, 01 Feb 2026 10:00:00 +0000

What if the very thing we're most ashamed of—our failures, our losses, our burnt-down dreams—is actually the raw material God requires to give us our greatest breakthrough? This powerful message explores Isaiah 61:3, where God promises to give us 'beauty for ashes,' revealing that ashes aren't evidence of God's rejection but rather His divine starting point. We discover that in Hebrew, only one letter separates the word for 'ashes' (ether) from the word for 'crown' (afar), suggesting we're closer to victory than we realize. The message challenges our Western tendency to hide our failures, instead inviting us to boldly present our ashes to God—the remnants of broken relationships, failed attempts, repeated sins, and abandoned dreams. Like Moses who threw furnace ashes into the air and watched God weaponize them into a plague against Egypt's oppressors, we learn that our praise in the midst of pain transforms our ashes into weapons of spiritual warfare. God doesn't bless us by what we've lost, but by what we have left, and if all we have left are ashes, that's exactly what He needs to write our next chapter.

Renewed

Sat, 24 Jan 2026 10:00:00 +0000

This powerful message centers on the theme of renewal, drawing from Exodus 34 where God instructs Moses to cut new tablets after the first were broken. The central truth here is profoundly liberating: just because we've broken covenant with God doesn't mean it can't be restored. God doesn't negotiate terms—He dictates them, but His terms are filled with mercy, grace, and second chances. In fact, He's the God of third, fourth, and countless chances. The scripture reveals three specific instructions God gave Moses that apply directly to our lives today: be ready, come up, and present yourself. Being ready means seeking God first thing, making Him our priority before anything else enters our day. Coming up challenges us to leave surface-level faith behind and pursue a deeper relationship with God, changing our position to change our perspective. Finally, presenting ourselves means offering worship—becoming living sacrifices, holy and acceptable to God. The most exciting promise comes at the end: God declares He will do wonders never before done in any nation. This isn't just ancient history; it's a present-day invitation. We're stepping into a new season where the renewal happening in one life can spread to all. The covenant God made with us when we first came to Him remains valid today, unchanged and irrevocable. His word will not return void. Whatever He spoke over our lives still stands, waiting to be activated through our obedience and worship.

From Comfortable to Courageous

Sun, 18 Jan 2026 10:00:00 +0000

This powerful message challenges us to examine whether our faith has grown stagnant or is actively expanding to new levels. Drawing from Hebrews 11, we're reminded that faith is the currency of God's kingdom—the essential ingredient not just for salvation, but for experiencing every promise, breakthrough, and miracle God has for us. The message confronts our tendency to settle into comfortable, predictable faith that doesn't interrupt our schedules or challenge our understanding. Yet true faith, as demonstrated by Abraham who obeyed without knowing his destination and Noah who built an ark before rain was even understood, often requires us to step forward when everything looks ridiculous or uncertain. We're invited to shift our perspective on life's challenges—instead of viewing them as obstacles trying to defeat us, we can see them as divine opportunities to strengthen our spiritual muscles. Just as physical muscles atrophy without exercise, our faith diminishes when left unused. The testimonies of Moses seeking God's glory despite already encountering the burning bush, and Paul desiring to know Christ more deeply even after heavenly revelations, remind us that spiritual hunger should never be satisfied with past experiences alone. This isn't about earning God's love through impressive faith; it's about positioning ourselves to experience more of His power and partnering with Him for the next assignment He has prepared for our lives.

I Will Build My Church

Sun, 11 Jan 2026 10:00:00 +0000

We stand at a catalytic moment in our church's history, witnessing miracles that should fundamentally change how we understand God's power working among us. At the heart of this message lies Matthew 16, where Jesus takes His disciples to Caesarea Philippi—a place steeped in pagan worship and demonic influence. There, surrounded by carved images of false gods and the very gates of hell itself, Jesus makes one of the most audacious declarations in Scripture: He will build His church, and hell's gates will not prevail against it. This wasn't a defensive statement but an offensive one—Jesus stood on enemy territory and declared victory.

Proximity

Sun, 04 Jan 2026 10:00:00 +0000

This powerful message confronts us with a question we all must answer: are we living distracted or devoted? Through the familiar story of Mary and Martha in Luke 10, we're challenged to examine what truly captures our attention. Martha was busy serving, distracted by many things, while Mary chose to sit at Jesus' feet—the good portion that would not be taken from her. The invitation is clear: God doesn't want us drifting through life with divided hearts, scrolling through distractions while missing His presence. Instead, we're called to investigate who God truly is, to draw near through Christ our mediator, and to repent—which means changing our minds and turning around from distraction toward devotion.

Joy Happens

Sun, 21 Dec 2025 10:00:00 +0000

In the midst of our holiday hustle and bustle, we're invited to discover a profound exchange that God offers us: beauty for ashes, joy for mourning, and a garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. Drawing from Isaiah 61:3, this message unpacks how joy isn't just a feeling that randomly arrives—it's something that happens when we actively participate in worship, even during our darkest seasons. The story of the Magi from Matthew 2 beautifully illustrates this truth: these wise men journeyed far, faced opposition from Herod, and when they finally encountered the Christ child, they fell down in worship. Their worship didn't just change their posture—it redirected their entire journey, leading them to hear God's voice and follow a different path home.

Divine Appointments

This powerful message takes us to the ancient well where Jesus encountered the Samaritan woman in John chapter 4, revealing profound truths about divine appointments in our lives. We discover that God orchestrates encounters with people who desperately need Him, and we are often the vessels through which He reaches them. The story reminds us that Jesus intentionally went to Samaria—a place Jews typically avoided—because someone there needed an encounter with the living God. What's striking is that Jesus didn't just come for this one woman; He came through her to reach an entire city.

Where Am I?

Sun, 09 Nov 2025 10:00:00 +0000

This powerful message takes us on a journey through Genesis 13 and 14, exploring what it means to be gathered with people we didn't choose—much like that third-grade classroom where we first learned that life puts us in proximity with diverse individuals. The central question 'Where am I?' challenges us to understand our location in relationships and our role as kingdom influencers. When Lot becomes a prisoner of war he didn't start, we see ourselves or someone we know—trapped, hurting, stuck in circumstances beyond their control. But here's the beautiful truth: there's always 'one who escaped' who becomes the whistleblower, the intercessor. We're called to be that person for others, going to the Father on behalf of those who can't go themselves. The parallel story in Mark 2 of four men carrying a paralyzed friend to Jesus reveals the radical nature of true healing ministry. These men didn't just pray from a distance—they ripped off a roof! They went beyond normal, beyond comfortable, beyond what made sense. Healing people heal people, but it requires us to carry those who can't walk, to have faith for those who've lost theirs, and to address internal wounds before expecting external transformation. The proximity principle reminds us that we will be close to people, and our influence must undeniably be the kingdom of God—not the kingdoms of this world or darkness.

This message beautifully unfolds the transformative power of blessing in our lives, rooted in 1 Peter 3:8-12. The Light Yoke of Christ

Sun, 21 Sep 2025 10:00:00 +0000

In this powerful message, we're invited to explore the profound concept of Jesus' yoke and its significance in our spiritual journey. The central scripture, Matthew 11:28-30, presents Jesus' invitation: 'Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.' This passage challenges us to rethink our understanding of what it means to follow Christ. Rather than a burden, Jesus offers a yoke that is 'easy' and 'light.' We're encouraged to see this as a beautiful paradox - joining with Christ in His work, yet finding rest and freedom in the process.
